Communication - 10/10
His CS responded within a day to every message I sent. Very good.
Shipping - 10/10
Fastest turnaround time I've ever seen from a vendor. I ordered and true to form, had the ID in 4 business days. He's new, so hopefully as he grows he can keep it that way. No tracking, but it barely would've updated before it got to me.
Stealth - 10/10
Made me laugh way too hard. Definitely crafty.
Cost - 8/10
$100 seems to be about what a good TX with proper raised DOB is selling for. Pretty good, especially with the turnaround he can give.
Photoshop - 9/10
PS was good. Shadowing looked pretty point-on. Sent in a pic with some stray hairs, didn't get shopped out, but I've seen more than a few real O21s (including the scans) that have them too. No concerns with the PS work.
Template - 8/10
Template is good, a few things could use tweaking. The lines below the picture are definitely a bit too dark, real TX is a bit more subdued from what I see. The raised text for the DOB was a bit left of center as well, and both images I have show it more or less centered over the picture. The missing dot over the letter I in "Directive" on the back is awesome - it's a little detail but most good bouncers who see TX a lot look for it. The broad yellow in the middle is maybe a little more dull than it should be, but I don't see any real color issues
Holograms/OVI: - 10/10
Colors look pretty good. . The three stars over the Restrictions section are slightly varied in brightness, not sure if that's normal, but it looks like it may be.
UV - 9/10.
Looks good to me. Everything that the Barbook lists is present, including the ghost image on the back.
Perforations - 10/10
Perfs are clean. All look good.
Microprint - 10/10
The outline of the state looks good and is in the right place. There are no points out of place.
Scanning - 10/10
Looks good on all the apps. No "Potentially Fake" flag on BCS. Haven't used it in real life yet, but I've never seen an ID scan on the apps and not work in a store. No idea if the magstrip is coded, but I've also never seen or heard of anywhere that swipes
Signature - 8.5/10
Sig is centered and looks right. No distortion. Unlike a lot of other IDs, I actually think it's a little too thin. The scans I got were definitely a bit thicker and more pronounced.
Conclusion - 8.75/10
I can't give it a 9 without a real physical in hand to compare to, but it's definitely a sexy ID. DF is still pretty new, and Texas is a difficult state for a newer vendor to really hit right. I think a bit of PS work on the sig and the lines would help a lot.
Definitely impressed though. I wouldn't use it in-state, but for most of the midwest to upper midwest, I have no problem thinking it will work well. Really looking forward to seeing a newbie succeed, and if the ID I have is any sign, I think they got it.
