OIS order, tracking tendered to military agent ( self )

Literally no idea what that means, assuming it’s been seized, anyone else ever have this problem?

Most likely didn’t get seized by customs and is probably in the country fine and cleared customs. Most of the time it’s because the person at the post office clicked the wrong button and marked it incorrectly on accident(most likely case). Another case it got mixed up and actually sent to a military base on accident. Or another possibility is that where the package was heading is extremely dangerous to the point the mailman could be hijacked and killed for the package.(probably not but idk where it was going and considering what was supposedly in the package was worth under $5). Honestly idk what could happen if it actually got mixed up and sent to a military base just be cautious and don’t call or do anything for the package, if it’s stuck OIS will def reprint for free. And 99% it wasn’t seized, because it would have said it arrived at customs then either say it was sent for further inspection or just stay in customs for a week+.

Alright thanks, it’s just weird the package was already in the town and then was sent like back out to customs and now is in queens, so I’m assuming it’s going through another screen or something.
That’s extremely unlikely that it’s being checked and here’s why. Packages entering the country have no sort of protection form them being opened up and searched(similar to how the 4th amendment not being valid for border entries). However, once it’s in and approved, the package gains more restrictions to be searched. Because it is already in the country it cannot be opened up and checked because it is someone else’s property and requires a search warrant from a judge, which requires probable cause that there’s something illegal inside. This is similar to how if you park your car on a public street somewhere (legally like within allowed time frames) a cop/the government can’t just search your car cause they have a hunch based off of stereotypes or mere unbiased suspicion. This would be comparable to a package that has been cleared and is on a domestic flight being opened and searched because a mailman/cop doesn’t believe a package headed towards a college town doesn’t actually contains cheap Chinese jewelry. So basically if it’s already been to your town it’s cleared customs 100% because there’s no way around that the package isn’t allowed to leave customs control(whether it be at the source port of entry or the further investigation spot, and your tracking would’ve notified you of this in a different way than saying military personnel got it. And I also doubt anyone could tell what was inside considering the quality stealth ois uses once it was domestic. Most likely there was just a mix up with the tracking/ where it was supposed to go and you shouldn’t worry if it cleared the country and reached your town, even if it left after that.
Tracking says it’s back in customs again now, cleared a week ago and is now being inspected again, it’s just weird. Apparently a package can be pulled for further testing before it’s actually delivered. That’s what the guy at the post office told me when I called and asked a week ago why the package went all the back down to queens.
