Hello all.
Just an FYI, IDs that ship from China may contain the Coronavirus. From people I've talked to, only those vendors who reship them domestically have instructed their reshippers to completely sanitize all products. All vendors who do not are EXTREMEMLY unsafe.
If you have placed an order from a vendor who ships directly from China, I encourage you all to either dispose of such IDs immediately, or sanitize them yourself.
Sanitizing them is pretty easy and straight forward. First, wipe it down with either rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer. Then, smother it with a lipid dense solution to protect the ID from radiation induced color deterioration (as will be explained in step 3). I recommend using Peanut Butter for this, but cream cheese, butter, and full fat yogurt work as well. Step 3, place the ID that is smothered in the lipid solution in the microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds on high. The lipids will protect the ID from any damage. And there you have it.
