Oh fuck, a real lens? Shit seems too good to be true...right?

And as for the lens protruding from the ID it makes sense now hence why vendors here don't use real lenses from what I recall...yes on state IDs like Ohio it comes off the ID very very slightly but on states like Maryland its embedded into the ID. The lens doesn't come raised off the ID at all

The (right) laser will do proper raised text like that. Not sure if the MOPA can do lenticulars but there are ID card laser printers that can. Expensive af but possible. Fargo HDP8500LE for example.

Yes of course there are expensive printers that can do it but we are trying to source cheaper part from china that will do a good enough job, not perfect. But I not not know what to look for and nobody else on this board seems to do it either. There are many Russians that do these features but then you pay 300-500 euro per card and it takes 7+ days to get them. I need to be able to print instantly.

I've spoken to the Russian vendors (probably same one you showed pics of) and most have access to the proper laser printers/engravers and work with Ukrainian or Turkish suppliers rather than chinese. They are a bit more advanced and have higher quality material unlike Chinese who just pump shit out in bulk without much quality control.

However the EU market IDs are more for immigration/smuggling than getting little teenagers into clubs and buying booze so they usually need highest quality stuff to get past borders and customs hence all the advanced security features they put in.

Shits interesting nonetheless tho...be cool to see a Kentucky Maryland whatever get this level of attention

Such an ID would probably price out half the customer base that would just want it for booze and bars lol. With all the extra work and features, I doubt these would come cheap and affordable for the kids that just want get drunk.

Fargo HDP8500LE does not do the lenticular lens. It just fills in the lenticular lens. Lenticular lenses on legit cards are pre embossed into the transparent layer of the polycarbonate card.

I have only found 1 supplier in China that does this type of card.

Guangdong Zhongcheng Satellite Microelectronics Development Co., Ltd.

They sell polycarbonate card pre embossed with lenticular lens. MOQ is 1000 cards and blank generic is 0.6 $ each. They can customize everything for you but then you need to pay for the new embossing plate (5000 $) that they have to customize if you need the lenticular in some other design and placement. But if you want too customize the MOQ is 10 000.

I'm pretty sure that this is impossible

After this video I just wanna see it done. I'm genuinely curious if its possible, especially with a fair amount of states starting to put those lenses on their IDs

100% it can be done, its just not worth the time an effort unless oyur doing some kind of fraud. All u need to do is buy the machine and then learn to use it. There is 1 model that actually shows a video of their machine doing th e lens.

Yea I remember you saying it can be done. Its just impressive to actually see it get utilized. Like I said before coming from a state that uses those lenses they stick out to me on fakes. Me personally id be willing to pay for a nKY or nOH that has a real lens is all.

The is no video of any machines doing the lens, there is only videos on them filling in an already preexisting lens that comes with the blanks. If I am wrong then upload the link.

Laser engraving will invalidate the lens and will not succeed. Currently we have not found an effective lens. Effective lenses cannot withstand higher temperatures, so this is a problem. The ID lens should be 75-100 lines. ID lens costs 200,000 US dollars, and the success rate can only reach 40%. There is no 100% complete lens yet. My team has been researching.

The lens usually come preinstalled on the polycarbonate card stock straight from the manufacturer (with all/most other security features already applied).

The info and photos are later laser engraved on after during individual license issuance.

yes im from europe, we got a problem here with the lens on the id card. and yh ive seen that company your reffering to they show the videos,of the lens embedded in the card. you can get a laser engraver that can fill it for under 5k. main issue is buying the lens card i guess. that will cost the more as they gotta make a plate.
