Using IDs in Concert Venues/Festivals ( self )

Anyone have any experience with that? It's usually said that you should never dare use one, but I was wondering if anyone has tried or recommend a sexy ID for that purpose.

I used a FYD OH at 4 concerts by me, worked just fine, do you mean to get in or like buy booooz from the vendors at the concert? I used mine for booz when I got inside, used my real one for entrance since concerts are 18 y/o req

Yeah, I go out to a bunch of EDM raves and always get slapped with the x's on my hands bc I've heard stories about showing fakes

Yeah, only used one to get in once when I was 17, used my FYD OH, pretty clean ID, I just used my nIL from 21done at a some concert/festivals in Miami area, worked just fine there

Concerts are hit or miss. Often state liquor authorities LOVE to check ids at concerts because there's normally a high amount of people using fakes and they are easy to catch with plain clothes officers checking your id(often they do a dmv background check or will catch any fake handed to them regardless of quality). However, there a lot of concerts where all the alcohol vendors will be volunteers/minimum wage employees who could careless. I know friends who used pretty basic ids that just scanned at rolling loud and they had no issues. SO basically I would recommend googling what venues your SLA likes to do fake id stings at first and air on the side of caution and not use one if it is one known for stings. Definitely be careful because these guys are out for blood. Your id won't just get snatched you'll at least be ticketed or even arrested and charged with any crimes they can throw at you. I personally avoid concerts considering a lot are expensive and most of the ones by me constantly have plain clothe officers doing stings.
