Does Old vs New Matter? ( self )

I'm looking to purchase an ID, and I see some ID's have been updated in recent years, and I was wondering if the older ID's would be any less realistic than the newer ID?

idk about other people, but feeling old IDs and then starting to feel newer teslin ones just make the old PVC ids feel fake af.

I used a blue Ohio for 5 years that didn't have the REAL star (template issue) and had an invalid issue date (the issue date is before they started using the blue ID). 5 years, still have the original and the dupe, nobody cares.
