Customs Seized letter, then Global entry and TSA Precheck revoked ( self )

So, sometime last year I had a fake seized by customs and received a letter about it a few months later. Now I've come to realize that my global entry and TSA precheck have been revoked as a result.

I'm not going to respond to the letter obviously, but what does this mean for getting re-enrolled in the two programs? Should I just give up on ever being in the programs again or should I go through the appeal's process? I'm just not sure if appealing could bring my seized fake into the light and admit my guilt in any way

TL;DR Fake seized at customs, got a letter, now TSA precheck and global entry are revoked as a result. What should I do?

Edit: Thanks everyone, planning on appealing in a month or two. I'll keep you all updated when the process starts

i gave up that shit was way too difficult. mobile passport control is pretty close tho tbh and its free

I have never heard of that happening before but get an appeal and deny everything. They won't have the resources to see if your face was on the fake, so you should be fine.

I take it you don’t fly internationally much. When u gotta leave a couple times a month it helps a shit ton cause customs are 5 min max
