From what vendor? Michigan is more or less a laminated piece of paper so you're saying they just sent you a sheet of paper.

It’s from Idgod. It basically feels like a plastic, flimsy business card

So your saying it came with just a piece of teslin paper?

It was the ID with everything it’s supposed to have except the lamination so it isn’t glossy and has a different feel to it. Idk if Michigan ids are supposed to be laminated or how they’re supposed to feel

Sounds to me like you mean something else and not laminated. If it wasnt laminated it would be a piece of paper. Do you mean overlay? mi doesnt have a overlay.

Okay that makes sense thanks. I’ve only ever seen Ohio ids so the Michigan ID just looked and felt fake in general compared to ohio’s

Ya ohio is pvc which is thick and has an overlay. Mi is teslin very thin and no overlay. So its sounds like it is how it should be.

For my own sake, do you mean the oOH or nOH is PVC? I thought the nOH was a different material.

This guy's confused, I think... and replies not helping LOL

I think OP was expecting his Michigan DL to be like a credit card, i.e. PVC plastic card ID like a lot of states are.

Michigan ID's are NOT like a credit card.

They are made from material called "Teslin" that is a lot more bendy, weird kinda soft-like. No other kind of cards (not credit cards or other shit like college or work identification, nothing I have ever seen) is also made from this Teslin.

It's just certain states driver licenses use this stuff. And Michigan is one of 'em, I think maybe Maine is another (?)

So, NO, bottom line DO NOT LAMINATE YOUR FAKE MI MADE FROM TESLIN to make it more "ID like"... you'll fuck it up if you do that LOL

Leave it alone. Teslin is TESLIN and it's supposed to feel weird like this way.
