Question to those who have been caught using a fake ID (or know someone who has) ( self )

I just got a fake ID last week but I haven't used it yet because I am a bit nervous about it. Has anyone on here heard of people who have been busted using a fake ID even after passing the scan test?? Mine passes every scanning app that I can find and just about every aspect of the ID looks flawless, but I still wanted to ask on here first.

Also if anyone has any tips on which liquor stores and times are best to buy at I would greatly appreciate the advice!

You should be fine. Even if you get caught, I think most of the time nothing will happen. I have had a Scanny CA for going on three years now and just got my first copy taken last week and don't think much will happen.

Most of the time, it would get confiscated and told not to come back and thats the end of it. Confidence is key, chances are wherever you go the server/bartender/cashier clerk isn't extremely familiar with your OOS ID. If you're super nervous and it shows, I wouldnt risk it quite yet. Build up some confidence and maybe try a 7/11 and buy a 6 pack to help with that.
