Seizure Questions ( self )

I have just had my OIS IDs shipped. But I usually get paranoid about this stuff and I googled the consequences and read some horrific stories that are now stuck in my head. I just wanted to know what happens when IDs are seized by customs, I know the chances of it happening are low, yet I just wanted to know. I ordered IDs for like 13 people, and so it was around 26 IDs in total. If it makes a difference, I will not be signing for the IDs but rather someone else will be as it is delivered to the desk of the dorm I am staying in

If you're this worried why not order domestic?

It's a silly question to ask. Nobody here is a customs officer. Your consequences for a seizure could range from nothing more than a seizure letter or they could have a team of FBI and Homeland security waiting for you to pick up your package at the front desk.

After you realize the world of trouble you're in the Dean has someone in the AV dept freeze the CC camera on the exact point you realized your entire life was over. They screenshot it and send it to your mother so she has a photo to remember you by. The feds haul you off to jail where the judge deems you a flight risk and denies you bail. You wait in the general population for your future trail date, set for a year from now.

Your lawyer tries to plea down the case but the DA won't budge. They've been told to make an example of you. Your parents mortgage their house to get a good lawyer for you. They've already lost your tuition and now they probably won't retire before they're 80. The new lawyer is better but the DA still has a strong case. They want the judge to give you 10 years. They're offering you 8 years out in 6 with good behavior if you will plead guilty now. What do you do?

first of all the chances of it getting seized are small af. it might just seem like a high number because every time someone gets their package seized they post about it, but not every time they receive it they make a post saying they got it. also, if it did get seized, they most likely won’t do anything more than send a letter informing you that you had a package seized. they always could try to do something, but for 26 total ids probably not. just calm down and it’s a pretty good chance you’ll be fine. if you tweak out about it and want to order more in the future, go with domestic only.

If you're worried about a seizure, go check you have a clean house and read up on your 5th amendment rights.

No your dorm's front desk signing makes no difference. If they have a warrant they'll just go search your dorm even if you aren't present and since it's a dorm they probably don't even need a warrant, just the school to agree with it.

Idk what is with the obsession with signing and not signing. If you're getting raided you're getting raided end of story regardless of if you sign or not. By the point they show up to your dorm/house that decision has already been finalized.

But now if you don't sign and it wasn't a CD, when that package gets returned, they're going to open it and see what's inside. And now your address is burned.
