So recently I got idtop's under 21 SC from a giveaway, and I decided I would review it in comparison to FYD's o21 ID. For cost, they are both around the same price, but FYD always has a deal going on to make them cheaper. In my experience, they both had relatively good CS and responded in a fair amount of time. The SC from FYD came in a group order, so the shipping was a little bit slower compared to the 2 weeks idtop took. I also got a reprint from FYD and I'll explain why later on which took another couple weeks. Instead of using numbers for this review, I'll go down the list of the usual stuff like templates and holos and I'll say who I think did it better.
Holo (FYD) So being an overlay state, SC has basic holos all over the ID. I'm not going to get to much into the exact details, but there are some pretty clear points for why FYD did a better job. The holos on the FYD do not need as much light to be seen or show off the rainbow effect of the OVI as the idtop ID does. The idtop holo hardly even gives off any type of rainbow effect and needs a flashlight to be seen entirely. For this reason, FYD got the holos down more.
Template (FYD): FYD by a landslide on this one. I have 4 copies total from FYD because they fucked up the expiration date on the first one (which will be the one in the pictures), but idtop has more issues imo than just that. So most people buy a vertical ID and still say they're 21 on it. For whatever reason, idtop has the SC say 'under 18 until' while all other vendors and reals say 'under 21 until', so I'm a little confused as to why they went this route. For this reason, a lot of the other info on my idtop is fucked up which I'm going to disregard for now. The only flaw idtop beat FYD on is that FYD uses dash marks for the DOB by the ID photo while idtop correctly uses slants. Not sure why FYD did this but whatever. Since I have a lot of ID's for SC, I put both of these ID's to a bend test of about a 45 or 30 degree angle. The FYD held up fine, was a little curved for a second but went back to its normal shape. The idtop's lamination came off quite a bit...lol. FYD's ID is way thicker than idtop's making it a much sturdier ID to bend. FYD's laminate also is closer to the edges than idtop's. Also, the edges of the ID on idtop are a bit choppy compared to FYD. Probably some other flaws among both IDs, but I feel I've made my point.
UV (FYD): This category was a bit closer, but I'm going with FYD still. They are both very defined, with idtop possibly going closer to the edges than FYD. FYD's uv print can be seen a little bit without a blacklight, which is why I considered idtop for this one. But I went with FYD because idtop bleeds through to the back while FYD does not.
Photoshop: no real defined winner here, both look fine.
Sig (idtop): my sig looks fine on both IDs, but idtop my signature is better aligned while one FYD my last name is floating a little bit in comparison to idtop.
Conclusion: Between these two IDs, probably best to go with FYD. I know people have been having issues with them, but once they aren't as backed up, they definitely have a better ID in this case for the price compared to idtop. More durable and better holos are my main two reasons for why I think FYD is better. Plus, even without deals, it's about the same price, so not like you're paying more for something that is simply better.

2 BIG FLAWS on idtop i managed to miss was that I have the organ donor heart but says I'm not a donor on the back...? Also, FYD the laser perforation as very easy to see while the idtop laser perforation is barely there at all...
