Limits on cash withdrawals abroad ( self )

Has anyone experienced cash withdrawal limits abroad? I was recently abroad and suddenly my bank cut my cash withdrawal limit out of the blue. I was preparing to spend some money on souvenirs, and then - bam, the limit! I had to use a cryptocard, but it's still not very convenient. Maybe someone knows how to get around such situations in advance so that I don't have to worry about it on vacation?

Realistically, it's kind of frustrating when you can't withdraw money normally. I eventually started looking for alternatives too, and cryptocurrencies helped. In my opinion, it's convenient to check the limits and card options in advance, so that you don't have to worry about it later on the spot.

Yes, cryptocurrencies are an interesting topic. I generally think that there are so many options with different cards now that there should be no problems with access to money. However, I've heard that it's better to find out the bank's conditions for each region in advance, because sometimes the rules are very different.
