What is everyones thoughts on using out of state fakes at TopGolf, Restaurants like AppleBees, Olive Garden, Logans Roadhouse?

Got the overlay on my fake peeled off at Topgolf, they told me to leave w my ID or to forfeit it if I wanted to stay. That was at the bar, i used it at tables all night w no issues. They took it to the back I would assume to scan and brought it back with the overlay off. Don’t know about the other places, but i’d guess you’d be fine since a waiter would be asking for ID.
