I've used a college key nIL (v3?) got into a few places. BUT got taken at Honky Tonk Central. All the bars I went to just had a bouncer looking at ids with flashlights. (No UV, no bending, no scanning)

It’s really about which bars you go to in Nash. I would avoid Broadway bars unless you’re feeling risky or willing to pay a bouncer for your ID back. I’ve had friends who definitely look 21 that had their scannable and Ted ids taken. If you’re with friends who are 21+, you’ll probably be fine. Bars on Demonbreun and Division by Vanderbilt and Belmont are pretty safe bets if you’re confident about using your id. Acme’s great for day drinking, but they’ll have someone recheck your id if you’re still there at like 6ish, especially if you look young, and they’ll be pretty strict about it.
