Is Whole Foods stricter than other grocery stores? ( self )

I just got an id and I’m trying to decide if I want to use it at one of the local grocery stores near me or at Whole Foods because that’s the closest store to me. Do any of you have experience using fakes there, do you think they’re less lenient about fakes than other grocery stores?

First thing I would say is that it depends on where you live. WF employees in big cities are much more diverse compared to WF employees in nice suburbs where there are lots of middle aged white women working the registers (if you look and dress like a teenager, this is the demographic that is going to give you the hardest time no matter where you are).

If you're in NYC, for example, only grabbing a six pack of some weird, gluten-free IPA, the cashier wouldn't think twice about it. Repeat that same scenario in an upscale suburb and Donna behind the register might cause a scene.

For Whole Foods (or any grocery store), where the cashiers don't know shit about IDs, the most important thing is to present as an adult. Buy some actual groceries and a bottle or two of wine, look and act the part, and you'll be fine.
