Fake at Illinois dispensary? ( self )

IL dispensaries just opened and there aren't that many and lines are long which leads me to believe that they would scrutinize IDs more since there are less of them and its hard to get a license. Has anyone succeeded?

In most (if not all) dispos they look for your Medical Marijuana License or Recreational Marijuana License. Haven't seen any fakes around for MML's/RML's though. I haven't heard of only showing your DL to buy bud haha

Edit: Good business idea for anyone trying to make fakes for mary jane now. However, a license only works in the issuer state due to marijuana being illegal at the federal level.

Edit Edit: Forgot, different states have different legalities allowing/disallowing OOSL's (Out of State License). Some states allow it, some states only allow it if the OOSL's issuing state complies with the same laws that you're buying at's state, and some dispo owners just don't give two jack diddley shits.

You’re right, sorry about that! In certain states you need a rec license. A fake DL will be fine. They only scan it to make sure you aren’t buying more than the recreational limit for the day so they don’t get clapped. They also scan it to add you to a database for certain reasons such as making sure you’re a first time customer for first time promotions etc.
