DHL Sign for Package? ( self )

Ordered with OIS rush shipping, I wasn't around today but tracked it online and it says delivery attempted but recipient wasn't home. Does this mean I have to sign for the package? I've never had this happen before and now im bugging about a controlled delivery. Is it normal to sign for DHL packages? What should I do if they show up tomorrow?

For DHL it’s normal to ask for a signature, they do not leave packages outside your door without one, you can always rerout it to a DHL office close to you and go pick it up, but youd need an id to match the recipient details on the package

Thanks for the reply. I just got freaked out cause all my other orders were FedEx or USPS and I've never had to sign, i guess different shipping companies have different rules
