Why must it be a Nisca? Newer Fargos do 600dpi also and easier to source, especially the material and parts.

And the Nisca can? I mean their both 600dpi retransfer printers.

I wasnt aware that Fargos cant do micro as I thought all retransfer printers are pretty much more or less the same unless I'm mistaken. I have seen Niscas mentioned here before bunch of times so maybe I'm missing something about them. Just never found them to be readily available in local markets especially the material.

No it cant, but nisca is $2K cheaper, so for that extra $2K that fargo better be able to microprint, otherwise i dont see how thats a better deal
