Things happen and things get lost but I would say the express shipping has to be refunded as you never got that service.

they did get the service, it's sitting in customs in the EU - we sent them an additional copy after it didn't move for a week which was more than we should have done.

International shipping is always hit or miss, and international express is so horrifically expensive, we always say "this is what the guidelines say" "this is when it should arrive" but we also say "we have no control over how long shit sits in xyz country customs". Hence our policy is just to reship, they do arrive it can just take time.

Even more complicated is when these addresses are given in English and the mailman 99% has very basic english skills, a whole other can of worms.

Read my first post. I mentionned "international express shipping", so yes, that means overseas. I mentionned it to the vendor before ordering and he said no problem, just that it would cost $90 extra for express. Language in the address is a ridiculous argument and has only nothing to do with all that, it's latin characters, not russian or mandarin chinese.

Did you order it with an invalid age/DOB? If you tried to order with an age too far from 21, most vendors will not send IDs.

No, the age is just slightly over 21 - the order was sent (according to the vendor at least), I just never received it after almost a month despite paying a quite massive amount extra for express, and I have no tracking number to check what happened.

What this customer is failing to mention is that they ordered international express to a country in Europe. We said we did not recommend express as customs can cause major delays for countries in Europe, and often the cost does not justify it. The customer still wanted to do it so it was shipped express. Europe Express shipping is 6-10 days, this is the shipping time quoted to us, this is not how long we said it would take to receive the order. The customer threatened if we didn't offer them a refund they would make a public complaint.

We explained exactly why this is not going to get a refund. We offered to reship if it still hadn't arrived this week. We also shipped a second copy via normal post after their package got held up. They demanded a refund again and spammed us with hourly threatening emails.

vendor is lying. overseas shipping was clear from the beginning and he never mentionned that it would be a problem, otherwise i woulnd't have ordered. I made it very clear that the shipping time was very important to me and he didn't say anything then, but was happy to take the extra money. full email exchange as proof in my comment below.

You are lying. You never said that you did not recommend it and didn't say anything about customs. The topic of my first email was "Shipping to EU", you said "no problem". I asked specifically if 6-10 days was the time from order date, you said yes, nothing about it being the "quoted delivery time". I didn't spam you with hourly emails nor any threat, the only reason I sent several emails (and never more than one per day) was because you just stopped answering me and didn't offer any acceptable solution.

yes, you asked how long shipping times were, directly off the website those are the estimated shipping times.

Everything goes through customs in every country for every international shipment. Most of the time there is no issue, this is why we offer to reship for free.

Sorry dude, you paid for express shipping, we bought and shipped express. This isn't Amazon, there is no money back guarantee on arrival times, we have no control over local mail, in cases of non deliveries we reship, that has always been our policy.
