Just wondering if Magicfakes is still legit? I’m wanting to put in a group order through them but I saw they got taken off of VVL.

If you like it, just buy it and use it as usual. Don't put too much importance on an issue. Before, I had the same thought as you when buying wordle and then I still decided to buy without encountering any problems.
