Side note - This will be a massive blow to the "tech support" scammer industry. It will be much harder for them to anonymously transact "Google Play" gift-cards, amazon gift-cards, and other mediums used for moving money to scammers in nontraditional ways.
Sure, they will adapt, as they did when payment processors stared becoming more vigilant which is what drove them to gift-cards in the first place, but it is good in the long run and will help keep them on their toes.
