Is the fargo hdp5000 still a good printer for PVC and windowed states? ( self )

I know this thing used to be industry standard. is it outdated and shit now or still a good option?

Fot the newer stuff u need a 600dpi pvc printer . The fargo 5600 is only 600dpi with words and not pictures so it was a waste of money , ask anyone who has one FYD will tell u , it's garbage. So after that bullshit I havnet tried the newest one bcause of it. There are so many other good 600 dpi printers so fuck fargo.

Print Modes Print Head options: HDP5600/600 DPI print head only: Normal mode is 600 DPI in the short dimension, but effectively 300 DPI in the long dimension (default) Premium mode is a full 600 DPI in both the short and the long dimensions of the card.

Did you set it to premium mode? I should print everything 600 DPI in that case.
