I have attended Lolla for 5 summers and worked at a food vendor for 1. We didn't serve alcohol at our tent but we were in the same area as the huge stretch of "Bar" tents they have, I assume your talking about those...for years now they have done a wristband system after you get carded once, but it wouldn't be uncalled for you to get re-carded at each purchase, but most of the guys in the tents don't care that much. So probably on the lower end of strictness, but I would say use the normal amount of caution bc you want the ID to work yada yada, don't use a nIL, don't be dumb, should work. Also Lolla alc is expensive as fuck. Pre game.

I’ve been told that nobody, including cops, care about drinking that whole weekend. One even described it as “complete lawlessness,” lol

At Lollapalooza, the level of strictness can vary depending on the situation. Security measures are typically in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, including bag checks and occasional pat-downs. However, the overall atmosphere tends to be relaxed, allowing for a fun and carefree experience.
