OIS ID No longer scanning ( self )

This past weekend I used my nRI ID from OIS and it did not scan. I’m wondering if they will update the barcode / system or if i’ll have to order another one now ? It got taken after they inserted it into a scanner in which they also had to do a two step verification with Facial recognition. If ordering a new one from OIS, would they pass this legit scanner?

About scanning issues that it’s the BCS scanner (just this one app) doesn’t work for fakes anymore ( for all vendors, not only us), bc they upgraded their technology recently, but it can pass on any other places. We are working on the update. Our New FL/ new TX/ new CA/ new NJ/ new MO/ new IL /New PA/ AZ/new NY/new CT/new ME/ new IN/ new MN/ new GA/ new OR/ new MI/ new AR/ new AK can pass BCS scanner now. Will figure out other states asap.

To clarify, "( for all vendors, not only us)" is inaccurate as our barcodes have always scanned and continue to scan properly on all barcode scanner apps, free and paid, including BCS. We are unaffected by this update. -21done

Boasting without shame? Maybe if I made a new topic every day about it. I haven't done that at all. I know how people are, and some will see this and actually message us and say "OIS SAID THAT ALL VENDORS DONT SCAN WTF" and then we would have to explain again and again, so instead, I post this... Someone doing just that is what brought me to the post. Congrats on all of the successful barcode updates lately!

Just bc it doesn't scan on one app or at a specific store does not mean it " stopped scanning " no one has a magic switch that makes it " stop scanning " unless they all simultaneously updated their software which will never happen

It sounds like you ran into a box scanner or patronscan. Both of these scanners are foolproof against fakes from ANY VENDOR and it's on you for not knowing that fakes don't pass these high tech scanners. Sorry.
