edit: so you have a tracking number from your previous comments but it is on preshipment, it will either scan in monday or it's a seized one.

Not trynna be a cock, just have people asking where their IDs are and I was lead to expect a certain time period... Additionally the VVL should be more clear (not your fault) because it lists you as a domestic vendor, so I didn't think I would have anything customs related to worry about.

But at the same time I do realize that this is not amazon and there are complexities to shipping illegal goods. I have not been in the ID game before at all, didn't know this discount had been running for long, it just reminded me of techniques darknet vendors used to exit scam and I was mad at the thought that I could be out of my money.

Sorry for the unnecessary post, just trying to ask the community if this is normal or abnormal behavior given my newbieness to this

We ship domestic, what we do is we ship bulk from china to our usa guys. Our guys in USA repackage and ship to you so its safer, what happened was about 5000 IDs got seized that was split up between multiple bulk shipments so we're redoing em.

Yeah, I understood that but it was a surprise when I first found out as I assumed all domestic (but once again I don't blame fyd at all for that, probably should've looked into it more myself if it was an issue for me).

There is nothing sus. The problem is FYD caters too much to you people. For every 1 person who is stuck in your position, 10000s of others receive. You are the very loud SUPER minority. You don't understand the logistics of this business is the main problem. It's not as easy as going to the post office and mailing a package. There is a lot of little things that we need to look out for so delays become rare. The promo you are referring to has been around for years.

In summary, saying words such as scam in this business is one of the worst things you can say without having sufficient proof. What you are experiencing is unfortunate, but understand that at some point, every vendor has had a delay for whatever the reason may be. Also, understand 1000s are receiving their IDs right now as is. You are in the VERY SMALL minority of people. And lastly, rest assured we will make things right

He has an on forum CS (me). Why haven't you even sent me one PM about your order?

Wouldn't say I'm a "super minority" given the many orders that were seized and the need to post large update threads on here about the "situation". I understand it's not as simple as mailing a package.

I wasn't trying to accuse of scamming, simply checking with the community to see if this is normal or cause for concern.

I appreciate that you will make everything right and I have certainly heard that FYD is great at replacing IDs that don't scan or have other issues, and for that I am grateful.

I did not PM CS because it wouldn't make sense to open a new ticket when the update to my situation was going to be posted shortly, and it wouldn't make sense to ask CS if this was normal behavior or cause for concern.

You are in the super minority. Those "Large updates" are a drop in the bucket for our volume. Hard to comprehend, but understand we are one of the largest ID manufacturers in the world.

Completely understand, but just an FYI for the future, scam is the biggest curse word in this community. If you don't have sufficient proof, avoid saying scam at all costs!
