How do vendors make ovi holos these days? ( self )

Back in the day it was pearl ex + speedball with a clean stencilpro, although everyone knows RGF got lazy and just printed a grey sine wave for his NY and called it good

If you were really ballin and wanted to do a new state with a multi colored ovi you would get yourself an alps printer, but this was a slow and messy process

I'm seeing some really clean multi colored OVI, how's it done? do you do it yourself or just buy premade sheets from china?

Does that OVI, once dry on the "sticky" / rough side of the laminate, keep its composure and not get destroyed when put thru the lamination process?

Certainly ALPS method still works with an ALPS MD1300, a finish cartridge, and some Pearl Ex? You wouldn't even need to do the UV powders if you printed it on the paper w/ the UV ink jet & lined it up right.. eh?

Also yes the OVI is available from several of these Chinese shippers but its $300 or so per kilogram of this stuff. Would have to get samples to see whats up. Im sure the vendors here know tricks.
