Hey just wondering what exactly is a "box scanner" that people often say is so impossible to pass with a fake ID?
I used my OIS at the MGM Grand casino in Detroit this weekend and the guy at the door checking ID both and the lady setting me up with a Players Card at the customer service desk BOTH put the ID into a box-thingy to input/check the info.
Luckily it came thru just fine, no question. Both times!
So, did my OIS "pass" the dreaded "box scanner" here? Or isn't that what this particular box-thingy was, and whatever this feared box scanner really IS, could still detect my OIS as a fake, someday?
