Here's a review of my Viking nPA, got these as a freebie due to WU fucking up my payment. This review is pending on the homepage, just writing another one here on the forums.
● Uncertainty: Low - Comparing it with Barbook 2019
● Communication 10/10: Viking's CS is top tier. Always got questions answered within 24 hours, and he was awesome when he needed a new picture and when the payment got fucked up on WU's end and I had to resend. I seriously enjoyed communicating with him.
● Cost 10/10: Free IDs? Hell yeah
● Shipping 7.5/10: The only downside of Viking. Shipping from the original order (u21 NJ) was slow AF, after waiting 21 days after I submitted my new picture they requested I got a reship. The reship got to my door in a week, was super stoked on how fast they got it out and got some redemption points. The original envelope still hasn't arrived (been over a month now), I just assume it got lost in the mail.
● Stealth 2/10: The reship was just standard cardboard(ish) USPS Envelope with the ID's in there. Perfectly fine for Domestic, but if you're worried about somebody opening up the package before you get to it, be warned.
● Template 6.5/10: I don't have anything to really compare these to besides Barbook, but overall they look pretty decent. It has nice microprint lines with good colors and they're where they're supposed to be. The ink for Pennslyvania, the state cutout, etc, looks a little dark (more black than dark blue), but it's not a huge deal. I don't have a real ID in hand so I'm not super confident about the true color of those. The real flaw with these are the Keystone laser cutouts. From what I'm looking at on BarBook, they're supposed to be perfectly centered on the ghost image. The cutouts look great, but both IDs I got were either too high or wayy off to the right and kinda off-axis. I included pictures with lines of where the ghost image edge is better to show what they look like while still blurring out my info. The Texture is also really matte, not sure if they're suppost to be glossy or what but that seems to be another issue.
● Photoshop 10/10: My 2nd photo wasn't the best because I didn't have a DLSR, but they made it look great. Good ear shadow and I'm really impressed with how well they cut my hair along the blue background.
● Signature 10/10: Signature looks just like how I sent it in. Used MS Paint with a size 2 pencil, and it came out great.
● OVI 10/10: Looks great, the OVI has a great gold sparkle and looks good from what I'm able to find online.
● UV 10/10: UV is fire on these IDs, my UV light is pretty cheap so the whole ID doesn't light up, but it's definitely one of the stronger aspects of this ID.
● Scanning 10/10: Works great on BCS, PDF, and Inlite. I haven't used these yet due to the keystone issue, but I'm sure they'll work fine at OOS gas stations and supermarkets as long as they don't look at it too long. If you get a shitty manager to take it and look at barbook with the current cutout flaws, I'd kiss that ID goodbye.
● Conclusion: Overall, I'm pretty happy with these. I don't feel super confident using them because of that laser-cut issue (unless I'm just retarded and it's supposed to be like that), but for free they're pretty nice. If the laser cut issue wasn't there, I'd feel like they'd work great pretty much anywhere because there are no other huge issues I can find (except the texture, once again I'm not sure about if they're supposed to be matte or gloss, or somewhere in-between. These are more matte than gloss for sure). I'll probably just keep these as backups if both my U21 NJ's get yoinked, but I'd hold back on buying these until that issue gets resolved.
