After two weeks of attempting to submit this review on the FIDV review medium, which was to no avail, I have decided to simply upload this review on the FIDV forums.

Introduction - This is my second ID purchase and review. This is not a paid or sponsored review. This is an Illinois ID, however I am in California, which is quite a ways away from Illinois. Thus, I do not have a nIL ID to compare this ID to nor have I ever seen a nIL ID in person. Despite this, I have put my best effort into heavily criticizing every facet of this ID. This review provides my honest opinion of the ID from an out-of-state perspective.

Communication - 10/10 - The ordering process is straightforward and seamless, so direct communication is not a necessity. Nevertheless, 21done has responded to my inquiries through Wickr on the same day that I submitted them. They are polite and honest, but my simpler questions were only met with one-word responses. Accordingly, my longer questions were met with in-depth responses. Furthermore, they sent automated emails that indicated what stage of the process my ID was in at the time, which was very neat.

Cost - 9/10 - 21done charges $100 for a nIL without a duplicate; a duplicate ordered with the original ID is $24. A $30 duplicate of a previously ordered ID is also available. The price is a tad expensive, but it is well warranted when taking the shear quality of the ID into account, which will be elaborated on shortly. 21done provides reseller benefits, which can end up lowering the price to $40/ID.

Shipping - 10/10 - I ordered the ID before their batch deadline, and received the ID in my hand on the Saturday of the same week. From what I have observed, a 6 day turnaround time is simply unmatched by any other vendor. The stealth is fair, but since they are a domestic vendor, stealth is not completely necessary. 21done charges $5 for standard shipping, but also offers USPS Priority Mail shipping for $15. I was provided with a tracking number around 4PM PST on Friday, which aligns with their claim.

Photoshop - 10/10 - I cannot judge the accuracy of the blue background, as I do not have a physical legitimate ID to compare those features to. The border between my hair and the background is dynamic and rough, which accentuates the messy nature of my hair and only adds to the realism of the ID photo. The ear shadows are subtle yet mimic the lighting conditions present in a DMV. Try your best to submit a photo taken with a DSLR, it will increase the ID photo quality exponentially.

Template - 10/10 - The fonts are perfect, the colors are vibrant, everything is placed correctly, and it feels AMAZING. It has a soft matte feel and bends perfectly. The omnipresent microprint is crisp and legible, which compliments the complex guilloche lines. The license number, document discriminator, issue date, and expiration dates are all generated by 21done, so I can only assume that they are DMV-quality. There is also the option to select restrictions on the order form, which is neat.

Holograms/OVI - 10/10 - I cannot judge the hologram for its positioning, but every other aspect of it is stunning. The foreground buildings and "Secretary of State" are a beautiful gold while the background buildings and the accent line under "Illinois" are a pleasing green. "Land of Lincoln" and "Illinois" are a reflective silver. The dots preceding and succeeding both of the phrases "Land of Lincoln" and "Secretary of State" are all colored and placed differently.

UV - 10/10 - The pictures included are being illuminated by a 365mm UV LED. Lincoln's hat and the guilloche lines on the front are positioned perfectly, however they reflect less vibrantly when they overlap my photo. The image on the back is positioned correctly and contrasts well, and the vertical birthday is also positioned correctly. The UV ink is a faint green that reflects gorgeously when put under a UV light.

Scanning - 10/10 - The 1D barcode contains my license number followed by a small sequence of characters. The 2D barcode is encoded perfectly, and the claims that it can pass AgeID only make me more confident when using it. It has successfully scanned at a 7-11 and a few gas stations, as well as passed at a liquor store and a head shop. It successfully scanned at a legitimate California dispensary, even though it was not a California ID. The security guard checked me in as if I was a legitimate FTP.

Signature - 10/10 - The process for submitting a signature through 21done is seamless, as they use a built-in signature pad instead of relying on a picture of a signature. The signature is not raised, which is exactly how it should be. It is centered correctly and is perfectly thick.

Conclusion - 10/10 - The ID is simply flawless and will do the job at any age-restricted location. Even though I am a long ways away from Illinois, I feel fully confident when using this ID in California. Relative to other ID vendors, 21done's nIL price is fairly steep, but it is a completely rational purchase when taking the quality of the ID into consideration. The shipping speed and the fact that their products are 100% produced domestically only add to my satisfaction.
