Ya all ids have lams on them. And frankly just call the bouncers on their bullshit and trying to deny u. Any real overlay Id creases like a mofo so I always think it’s a bullshit test. But get what ur most comfortable with and use it. Best nNY is OIS but not isp. A pretty common fakes for NYC are nRI NJ and nPA from what I’ve heard but all but nRI will crease if I remember right. Also nFL can crease if u try hard enough so get a nCA if ur really worried about that

Real overlays are hard to crease not sure why u think they crease. But the real thing which i cant see how bouncers dont notice is a real one is made out of a rummery plastic and the ones vendors use are way different.

I only had one physical overlay (oSC) that I could afford to fuck with and it creased so badly when I tried. But hey that’s only one experience and time

I have never had a sc so maybe they are different but every real i got with an overlay its hard to crease them , when i say hard i mean harder then a fake.

Ya it was harder to crease then all of my oSCs reprint one I fucked with but it wasn’t hard. I just had to sorta flex it like 3 times and a couple creases appeared. And I have a feeling no vendor is gonna get close either to it since overlays are leaving and it just doesn’t matter anymore

to my knowledge, fakes crease in a different way than real IDs, and it'd be more complicated to qualify which is easier or harder. I've used the "bend test" many times with IDs that were already proven fake (a coworker has accidentally broken two real IDs by bending them so I'm pretty cautious about it, and you should be able to tell without bending it anyway). With a fake ID, the overlay will detach from the card itself when you bend it far enough, and when you release it it is still visible as a "crease". Tellingly, when you bend it a second time, the overlay again comes away from the card.

I've also bent my own real ID to see what it looks like, and it doesn't actually come away from the card. It still leaves a crease, but bending it a second time still doesn't detach the overlay from the card. Also, it was still usable after I put the crease in it. It definitely added more time to my wait with bouncers but it wasn't the worst thing in the world lol

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I was under the impression that this is because the overlays on real IDs are heat sealed, whereas fakes are almost always cold sealed because of the high costs associated with heat sealing.

You mean overlays not lam

So which states don't have overlays (Or ones that won't crease)?

You're looking for a state with a laminate and not an overlay. For example our states that are Laminate non Overlay are: IL/ME/CT/OR http://idviking.com

All new ones dont have overlays for the most part except nPA. All old ones mostly have overlays so thats the easy way to make a list.

Go with an Evolved ME, WA or OR
