21done lamination ( self )

I think it’s maybe time to have a discussion about the 21done lamination. I hear from all my friends who’ve ordered from there and my own experience that the lamination consistently peels after a month or so with normal wear and tear. They are very nice and will send out a replacement but I think it’s something that just needs to be fixed. Not sure how the other vendors have lam that doesn’t peel but 21done does.

Had this same issue before too, mine isn’t toooooo bad because I take care of it but my one of my friends has peeled off at 3/4 corners and looks awful

Same thing happened to my buddies after 6 months, lamination is completely fucked and almost peeled off but he already had it replaced once for peeling when it came (their CS was very responsive and helpful actually, no complaints there). I think the fact that he uses a phone wallet might have fucked it more somehow (not sure exactly why but I have a friend w another 21done who uses a regular wallet that it hasn't happened to. Could also just be frequency of use? Who knows). Anyways this seems to not be a one-off issue from what I've heard from others.

I really like 21 done but unfortunately this is true and has happened to a lot of my friends after the month mark just by sitting in their wallet

yeah this happened to 3 of my IDs:( last time it happened I just took a hair straightener and ran it over the parts that were peeling and it worked well enough lol. not sure why it happens but i do use my ID 3-4x/week

It could be because he is using high end satin lam which is a dick to use, its gets fucked up pretty fast. I stopped using it years ago because of this same issue. just a thought as i dont know what he uses or doesnt.

I assume it’s a quality bump over whatever is the other option your using or there would be no reason he’s still using it?

Not much af an actual difference. But as i said I dont know what he uses , I'm just saying that could be the reason.
