i think it depends on how old you choose to be/issue date, as the star just started being put on i believe; in which case they will decide to the put the star or not

If you go into the DMV after 4/1/19 without the required documents for real ID, they put "Not For Federal Use" in black text under the red banner on the ID. This is what we use on our IDs when the issued date falls after this date. It is identical to what an actual ID would print with.

Thank you. Just got mine in the mail and ran a bunch of checks on it and it’s the best id I’ve seen. Great job! Will be posting an in-depth review soon.
