We will be releasing this id with a VERY cheap promo so get your bitcoin ready because lenticular lenses here we come!

Sidenote - Prior to producing anyones orders we will be fixing some of the coloring on the template as well as some other small errors. This ID will come with raised text laser engraving and a tri color ovi shape of the state in the top right of the ID. The inital promo ID's will have the ovi state shape printed VS using OVI because the material needed is still in transet. The promo Ids will come with UV, Raised text, Scanning, REAL lenticular lens the first of it's kind on a USA drivers license so if your trying to hit up the bars and want to surprise some bouncers with some space age technology now is your time!!!

How he did the lenticular lense:

  • He got an x-acto knife and cut it out then proceeded to cum in the lense cutout then mixed it with some metallic silver paint to get that look then cured it with a UV Cure lamp

Lens from your pic looks to thick which is the reason no person does good canadian ones. The lens used on real ids is not the ones u buy they make them in house with a special machine. But again im judging by the pic as i havent shown how thick it is yet by a side pic.

All of canada uses roghly the same thickness. Maybe oh doesnt but I doubt anyone would use a thick one thats as thick as the card itself. The one used here in canada are as thin as the old overlays so thye blend in wiht the card. The lens we could buy from china or even now the dollar store are way to thick and ovious. If the us is going that way and using thick as lens then they are fucking dumb as shit.

How thin does it need to be? Is there a rough number? I've seen some on the chink Amazon a while ago that were advertised as pretttty thin. Obviously must be harder to source than I imagine or else a lot of vendors would have

They are both about the same thickness. New ohio and canadian ids even seem to use about the same specs for the lens. I need everyone to keep in mind that this is legit the first prototype and we are working on making it more realistic but this is a start i believe. We have run into the problem that budget stated which is having issues finding lenticular sheets of a thin enough thickness however we have countered that slightly by basically embedding the lens deeper inside the front of the card so it looks more as if it was not as thick. This way when you run your fingers over the surface you dont feel something like sticking out or anything like that. Visually if you look hard enough you may be able to tell still but for most bouncers as long as we adjust the LPI a little bit and get the color matching on point i believe this will be an ID that gets quite a few people in the door due to the fact most bouncers probably will be too dumb and the same affect that happened when windows were first a thing will happen with this where they will think it's like not fakeable.

I have contacted every lens maker in the world almost at 1 point in time from 8 years ago till last year. The ones sold are like 10 times to thick then the ones used on Canadian ids. If you want to think an example it's like the ones u can buy are as thick as a pvc card and the ones needed are thinner then a normal hologram overlay. The ones used on real ids are not lens like that are being sold so will be hard to source them . You need a special machine to make the real ones. I thought of the cut card out and put them in but they are still to thick even then so i didnt bother.
