Depends on place it's not necessarily widespread like Boston, but keep in mind that dispensaries in CA are still quite strict it was only legalized 1.5 yrs ago

Yeah, some in cali have them, but I am yet to see a box scanner at a dispo in mass
The only place where you cannot use a fake is Verilife and that is because they use PatronScan

from my experiences, dispensaries don’t give half a shit. have used my old lost nNY with half the raised text rubbed off lol.
