IDplug nPA Mini-Review
Intro: This is a bit of a weird review for me, IDplug is a new vendor here and I was asked to review pictures of the ID before it was sent to me.
Uncertainty factor: Medium/Low - Comparing to u21.
Communication: From the small amount I've emailed with him, communication seems pretty good.
Cost: I received this for free for my review, but the price on IDplug's site is $80 or down to $50 with group rates, so pretty comparable to other vendors here.
Photoshop: Head looks to be cut out pretty well, but it doesn't look like there were shadows added behind the head, which makes it look a little fake. The photo background also looks a little on the lighter side.
Template: From what I can see, the template looks pretty good, it's just hard to tell without the ID in front of me. Some things I've noticed are that the 3 digits in the top left of the photo are 000, which should be changed, and that the perforations are a little too visible compared to my real. The back of the ID looks good although it might be a little bit slanted.
Scanning: Scans fine on BCS with the correct info.
Signature: Looks great, good size and thickness.
Conclusion: Seems like a decent ID to me, I will revisit it and make a full review once I have it in front of me. I am curious to see how the overlays turn out and how the ID feels compared to the real I have, as well as how fast the ID arrives.
