Lot of IDs at once, want to discuss all of them but don't have the time to make a review for each lol. Pretty much what I'll do is very briefly say what I like about each of them and then rank them against each other.
Before that, I'll say that these IDs came in about 2 weeks maybe 2.5 as per usual. Cost is fair for what they are, but probably wouldn't budge unless I got a couple friends to buy with me. They all scan fine
Alaska: What I like - The ID feels good and similar to other stuff they've put out. If I had to guess, this is how their MD and a couple of other states feel as well. Lots of raised text including the DL#, Last Name, DOB and " DL " in the top right corner. Colors are vibrant compared to the real, but to someone unfamiliar with Alaska, it looks crisp. Lots of laser engravings as well. The best looking one is definitely ' Alaska ' in all uppercase with microprint inside of it. Very appealing ID to look at. Also crisp UV that doesn't bleed through the back.
What I don't like - The expiration term should be another 3 years. The DL in the top right isn't perfectly centered on one of the IDs, but is on the other. As always, the fake lens bothers me but most if not all vendors use the same fake lens. Also, when I scanned this ID as well as the rest of the IDs in this batch, the +4 in the zip code came up even though it's not printed on. Usually this is taken care of, not a big deal but was surprised. Like I said about the crisp colors of the template, it looks nice but should be darker.
Utah: What I like - It's a simple ID, looks like a lot of the other stuff OIS makes including nMO, KS, and NM. Same material, same basic security features. Etc. Nice laser perforation and raised DOB. Holos look alright as well
Don't like - The ID feels thin and matte like some of their other products. Could be intentional, but I've never seen West IDs all that much. The UV bleeds through as most of the fake IDs made if this material do, so I'm used to it. Microprint is a lil too readable, but at least there isn't much of it. Second thought, there's a decent amount but it's spread out.
Oregon: What I like - Newer ID, which is nice. Laminated on the front, done pretty well, but I'd be careful with it as it doesn't bend as well as stuff like their nDE. Lots of vibrant holos similar to SC. Microprint is only used on the border of the ID. The back is not laminated but has a raised DOB. The pictures are overall aesthetically pleasing and the details of the picture look fairly good.
Don't like - Like I said, the laminate isn't bad, but isn't the best. If a bouncer goes off of the bend test it could be problematic. Also, the barcode is...long. Idk if that's just how IDs in Oregon are, but it made it difficult to scan. Another thing I don't like is no real ID star. From what I've seen online Oregon did not have a real ID star on their IDs in 2019, so consider making 2019 your issue year if you want this ID. The UV bleeds through a little bit as this ID is on the thinner side, but not as bad as the Utah. Lastly, this ID has an older look to it. I consider this a bad thing as it makes it look cheap compared to other IDs states have nowadays. One more thing, one ID came slightly bent.
Overall, I'm satisfied with the Alaska and Utah ID as they're about what I expected, but the Oregon ID could use improvements in the future. If I were to rank these from best to worst, it would go Alaska, Utah, then Oregon. The only problem is you really would have to sell to people that you're from Alaska. With that said, I will start recommending people Utah over Oregon.
But hey, if you just want a fun ID or can really pull off being Alaskan (maybe it's believable in WA), this is a fair choice since not many vendors make it.
