Last time I used coinbase to acquire bitcoin it took like 30 days to actually get the bitcoin, does anyone know if they’re still doing this? If so, have any suggestions?

It's based on the method you used and the age and activity profile of the account. I am going to assume you are talking about an account you created recently for this purchase (So limited to no activity) and the Method you are using is ACH Transfer (Bank Acc. Transfer). In that case you can expect Coinbase to take anywhere from 17-30 Days. Coinbase actually explains your other options on the website, and this question get's asked so much that you can find a wealth of info about other ways to buy Bitcoin. People have been using Paxful more lately, and if you can get a good trade, I think it's your best bet. People also like the new version of the Cash App that has wallet functionality for Bitcoins.

I did notice cash app has a new bitcoin feature, would that be my best bet? I don’t use my coin base account very frequently but I am an adult, if I purchase more bitcoin would I still have to wait the 20 days? I’m sure this question is often asked, my apologies.
I recently re-downloaded the Cash App to see what all the fuss was about and generally I think it's as good as a deal as Paxful, to send off of it or use any of the wallet features you will have to Complete their verification process, this is going to be similar to what you probably had to do to sign up for coinbase: Info, ID, Selfie etc. As for speed, all my BTC purchases confirmed within a reasonable amount of time, and the fees weren't nuts. EDIT: The verification went through 27 hours after I entered my info. This seems average

That was what I was talking about in my edit-To use all the wallet features (Sending and Receiving) you need to verify, similar process to what you had to do to use Coinbase, it took just over a day for my verification to go through.

I used a debit card and it took twenty days
