Scanning at Target ( self )

Been using my FYD Washington lately. Works fine at gas stations were the clerk glances at it and says I'm good. Has anyone tried at like a target were they are required to scan. I've tested it myself and know it works, but do their scanners pull up anything else other than the info on the front?

target's is like a lot of pos where as soon as the age restricted barcode and sku are scanned they lock the pos screen until you enter a DOB or scan it, scanning it is just populating the DOB field so as long as it's written semi well it will work.
