Tips for dealing w/ bouncers? ( self )

I’ve been using a fake for almost a year now and I live in a college town throughout most of the year. So far I’ve had mostly success HOWEVER I’ve been rejected twice now once with a nPA from FYD and an MI from Lucy which I’ve been using in state lmao anyway I reordered a new one from Lucy. So now I’m just wondering what I’ve been doing right and what I could be doing wrong when dealing with bouncers. Obviously it’s hard to pinpoint the exact demeanor you need when handing over your ID BUT any help would be appreciated. Some tips from those who usually have success w/ fakes would be LOVELY such as tips on eye contact, conversation, and idk just how to appear more confident in general. I know a lot of people get their fakes back by offering cash to bouncers too so idk if I should be trying that anytime soon either. My 21st birthday is in a few months anyway so I don’t care much this time going around BUT yeah thanks everyone

If your bouncer says it’s fake; snatch that fuckin ID, this step is optional but definitely karate chop to the throat, run.

in my experience, if the bouncer says it's fake, offer them a little bit of cash and they'll normally hook you up. The ones at the bar I work at and most of the nearby bars usually just ask for my real ID and tell me $10 will get me the o21 band.

i have been on both sides of this issue. first dealing w/ asshole bouncers when i have no concerns about being able to get in to the place. Yet, they have this chip the size of fuckin Rhode island on their shoulder and are all on this power trip, looking to start some shit. it's this fucked up attitude that ruins a good time for people. i've seen it so many times that it's forced me, when i'm requested to work at a local bar, to approach checking id's completely opposite, which is friendly and welcoming. my advice, always look them dead in the eye, even if you are shitting bricks, dead in the eye. as for me, when i'm working, if i see it's 21 or over, fuckers are in, period. tbh, half the time, i don't even look at the pic and the other half it's the date, i dont look at. however, i believe i'm an exception to the many many power tripping bouncers that check id's.....dead in the eye, when you hand it to them.
