Intro -
After getting in contact with a couple other vendors about group orders prior to hearing about IDViking, I was not too impressed. Some of the things about the vendors just seemed sketchy (payment, CS, shipping). A previous group order customer had highly recommended Viking based on my listed concerns. From the first email I received back from them, I knew I had made the right choice. Here's my review of the group order:
Uncertainty Factor - Medium - I can only speak to the comparison of the ID's and scans and pictures online, but it's safe to say that I'm not too worried at all. Only thing is the eye color is BRN compared to BRO on most nPA's I've seen but oh well.
Communication - 10/10 - The previous customer I had got the recommendation from was 100% right about Vikings CS. I had an enormous amount of pressure handling a bunch of other people's money and quality of their ID's, and I can say that I felt safe in Vikings hands. They helped me with every step along the way, responding to even the most ridiculous of emails in a timely manner. As a first time group organizer, I was very annoying and they still responded to everything professionally.
Cost - 10/10 - The price was very reasonable considering the quality of the ID's and reliability of the domestic shipping (didn't want to risk customs). I felt the cost was very reasonable and proportional to the product and service.
Shipping - 9/10 - There was a minor delay, not the fault of Viking, and the only reason I kept asking them was because of the people in the group nagging me about when they were getting here. Still received them in a very timely manor and got updates when I didn't know where they were.
Photoshop - 9/10 - The effects used makes all of pictures look very close to the quality of the DMV, even when taken on an iPhone camera. The shadows look good.
Template - 10/10 - The templates are extremely close if not exact copies compared to scans and pictures I have seen online. Not being close to any of the states, I can't really get my hands on any of the real ID's. The visual quality however is second to none. Again the BRN thing but that doesn't really matter to me.
OVI/Holo - 9/10 - The holos on the ID's are just visible enough, not too vibrant or faded. When seen in light they all look great.
UV - 9/10 - I wasn't able to get my hands on a UV flashlight, but just like every other customer I'm sure they are spot on.
Scanning - 10/10 - I tested every state in the order on every iOS scanning app I could find. The barcodes are all coded properly. I haven't tried my own at a liquor store just because stores are naturally skeptical about out of state IDs since I am located in a place that is nowhere near a bordering state. It definitely works at the bars though which is all that matters to me.
Overall - 10/10 - The overall experience alone is enough to recommend IDViking to anyone looking to get an ID. As a noob, I didn't really know what I was doing and Viking did not hesitate to help me with every step!
