Got this ID in a small group order. It was not sent for me to review but I figured I could be the first to write an honest, not sponsored review. I will also make my own categories.
Uncertainty: Low. Comparing to a real IN drivers license
Shipping: I did not pay for rush shipping, took about 3 weeks to arrive at my door.
Vendor: No problems with magic on this order, I contacted the cs once and he responded promptly.
Thickness: the ID from magic is slightly thicker than the real IN, it does however pass the bend test fine
Laminate: the laminate is centred properly and the appropriate distance from the edge
Photo window: I was quite impressed with the photo window, something I would expect to be a dead giveaway to a bouncer was quite similar to the real thing. The only noticeable difference is that the real window shines a brighter gold at certain angles.
Color: the white in this ID is too bright compared to the real. The redish Indiana is also exaggerated compared to the real. The font in certain places is more bold than it should be.
Template: the building as well as other features are near 1:1. Magic did a great job with this.
Signature: the signature is the perfect thickness, i used the online pad. In addition the birthday in the bottom right is raised properly.
Scanning: the ID scans as you would expect but I’m not sure about advanced scanners
Photo: the photo is not very similar to the real indiana. The real photo is much more diluted. The fake has too much dark ink, in reality the photo should be quite muted.
Summary: I am still happy with this purchase from magic, while there is things I would change I believe this ID is passable in many places. Indiana gas stations don’t question it but I believe it would not pass at bars in places like Bloomington IN. If I were to assign a rating I give Magics nIN a 7/10. I’ve definitely received worse and am happy to have done business with Magic.
