fake ID sales should go up. A good handful of highschoolers can pass as 18, or are 18. The standard for alcohol (21) has been in effect since the 80s, that’s a lot of time of people knowing how to gauge a buyers age/know about ID validity, which they can apply towards tobacco sales

Just finished up looking at my numbers from this year, so I have some okayish data I could apply to this question:
The largest cluster of customers by age were 18 years old when they purchased(College welcome week sales always boost this stat), with the second largest cluster being 20 years.
19 year olds were only just outnumbered by 20 year olds, I always figure this is because the 20's people are getting them because their O21 friends have just began to hit the bars and they were asked to tag along.
Making up a smaller percentage is 17 year olds, however I marketed mainly to campuses so my sample size is inherently skewed upwards in age, very little word of mouth hit high schools this year, and as a result most orders from 15-17 year olds were smaller in size, bringing down the data.
The youngest outlier was a 14 year old. In the past I have sold to kids I later confirmed to be 12 and 13, but those seem to be exceptions to the rule.
As always this type of data I base on a number of things, in some cases I know for sure the customer's real age, in some case it is a guess based on year of school, information they supplied voluntarily etc.
Based on all that: I don't see it changing that much. The way this stuff seems to work at least with alcohol is that high school aged people are more comfortable going to an of age or under aged w/fake plug for their stuff instead of getting a fake and doing it themselves.
This largely changes in college as it becomes more about independence ("I need nic/alc now") and going to bars together, which takes the plug out of the equation.
I totally could be wrong and the market may be flooded with 14-17 year old customers getting them mainly for nic, but rn I'm going to put my money on no, however I am not a smoker (Long family history of lung cancer) so idk how much cravings will effect this.

I think all this does is kill u21 sales . I sell a lot of u21 but I see all them now buying 021 ids instead.

Yes, but I don't think it will entirely be killed, because teenagers from the Eu only need to be 18 to buy.

We have seen a peak. 98 orders since its been announced all high school kids. Including myself. They took my right to buy, so i use a fake ID and buy for anyone who is under 14-20
