Today I received review copies from OIS for their latest version of New York. Not going to dive much into communication or shipping or anything like that because anyone who knows OIS knows that they're trustworthy and reliable to deal with. I don't have a real on me at the time but my friend did give me tips to compare.
The template overall feels solid. My friend told me that his real isn't too flexible and this feels as described to me. Flexible, but wouldn't attempt bending it from corner to corner. The ID also has proper raised text (DL #, DOB, Expiration, and Sig) and has what feels like just the right amount of thickness to it a lot of my other fakes don't have. Solid 8/10 (Leaving room for uncertainty factor)
The NY IDs don't have holos, but it does have a window for the ghost image which is done well. No complaints here
Photoshop on this ID looks great. NY Photos are a little closer up than others and OIS did just that with the photo cutting almost right below my shoulders. With just a small amount of ear shadow, I'd give this a 9/10.
Signature is also done very well. Looks exactly like what I sent in and it's in the exact place it should be with it slightly overlapping my photo, 9/10
The UV on this ID looks great! NY almost completely covers their ID in UV Ink and OIS looks like they did just that. The barbook example of it looks terrible so I'd rather not base it off that lol. The UV is definitely hard to replicate on NY and I feel that OIS did what they could to replicate it . 7/10
Overall, this ID feels like a fair 8.5 out of 10. Would I call it ISP? Probably not in the city but hey, in NY you could use almost any state ID and it would make sense. However, I feel this ID could still be a safe bet for neighboring states. OIS is one of the few vendors who offer a solid NY, and I feel they truly do want to make it one of the best.
EDIT: Added pictures. Also forgot to mention has no issues scanning. Something I also liked about scanning it was how the second 4 digits of the zipcode come up as 4 0's as they should since NY IDs dont display all 9 digits. I also didn't realize but my info is in microprint along my signature, nice touch!
