Always nervous about using my fake. ( self )

I have so much anxiety every time i use my fake i end up shaking. I hear its common. Even tho i know my id is good and a can usually control myself enough in-front of whoever is checking to get served but does anyone know how to ease the anxiety or at least help it from showing

Some people are just more nervous than others by nature. I could tell you it's all about confidence and the way you present yourself but if you're more naturally disposed to anxiety, it's not going to do a whole lot to hear that over and over again. Don't overthink it and work yourself up before you hand your ID over. That card says you're supposed to be there/purchasing that so you have to get your exterior and mindset to match. Take deep breaths and relax on the way to your destination. Don't think about the process of being carded, think about what you're there to buy or do. When you do hand over your ID, think about literally anything else, like what plans you have later or how good your lunch was. Definitely try not to shake and don't have your eyes darting all over the place, but also don't look meekly at your feet.

dont think of it as "using a fake ID", think of it as I am over 21 and this is my ID. That helped my friend who got super nervous when using it, just an idea

It's all about your mindset! Try to remain calm, you're probably afraid of them noticing it's fake. The most common outcome is that they confiscate it and destroy it, so you don't have to worry about them taking it. Be chill too, there's nothing wrong with being nervous, but shaking is not good lmao
