First off, july isn’t a busy season for ids. Second off, Texas doesn’t have Holos, it has perfs however. The difference is substantial. Third for the edges, I’ve had ids come with rough edges from pretty much every vendor on here occasionally. This is just the die cutter getting dull. Take a nail Emory board and run it around the sides. I use a belt sander with a honing belt on it but not everyone has that.

Hey thank you for the input. I did not mean that the edges were rough. I meant that the faces of the Id (both sides) were not smooth and did not have a laminated feel to them. You are right I meant perforations

You use the belt sander for the reseller sized orders right?
this guy should be fine with an emery board or some 1000^ grit paper.
