Unless it varies in different parts of oregon , oregon is not glossy. I have had 4 reals and none have been glossy, oregon is dull as fuck. here look https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3sOObxxx54.

I have 32 different state reals and i havent come across any state thats not overlay thats glossy so not sure why people always talk glossy.

Yours looks good! But if you have a Oregon in hand ( at least a 2018 issue date one), then you’ll see that while it may not be “shiny shiny” it is definitely not matte like how FYD is, and how Dove’s is before you peel off a layer (check out my review). I just think it’s a good idea to never use in state ID’s tho so I don’t think it’s FYD’s fault

Of course i have a real in hand thats the bottom one in that link and it has zero shine like the other 3 reals i have had. or is a matteish id. It's also super thin and weights nothing. Might have changed in 2018 but 2017 reals and below are all matte which is what us vendors all made the templates from. So now being glossy has nothing to do with fyds one being matte as his temp is right to be matte. You can see from my link how matte the real is there, has no shine at all.

EDIT READ FIRST: Alright, so the site won't let me edit my post (redirect loop every time I try) but apparently I'm an idiot and it IS laminated on the front, just very matte. However it is not laminated on the back at all. I'm guessing this is how it's supposed to be but if someone could confirm that'd be dope.

Yeah, Im from Oregon.. they're supposed to be shiny. It was a complete let down when I opened my package and they were matte.

Pretty sure you can add a gloss to it... people were getting the glossy ones and bitching so thats why he switched i think

Like I said, I am from Oregon and have a real Oregon ID and they are not supposed to be like that. They have high gloss and are shiny, there is nothing matte about them. I would never use this ID in Oregon because it is so obviously fake... However in other states it will probably pass at grocery stores and with a promoter. I was excited to finally have a feasible ID, but now I plan on getting another one after just paying for this one just because it won't get me into places. If I were to add a gloss it would be thicker, which also makes it seem fake.

When I was with AP3X we had a matte OR that passed in state but to make it shiny, turtle wax and toothbrush. It’ll look good enough.

https://imgur.com/a/3AG0zC2 this is a good example of an Oregon ID --It was used to cover his sons permit, but you can see that the ID is shiny and glossy on the front and back, you can also see the texture is smooth.

I have an FYD Oregon and I'm concerned about the weight and the texture of the id. its literally about as light as a feather and feels like cardboard. not a complaint just looking for some conformation on it. when i scratch it it sounds like im scratching cardstock
