Can window states been done with Teslin or only card printer? —
Would the face photo parts print properly over the window when going through the inkjet?
And the Nisca can? I mean their both 600dpi retransfer printers.
I wasnt aware that Fargos cant do micro as I thought all retransfer printers are pretty much more or less the same unless I'm mistaken. I have seen Niscas mentioned here before bunch of ti
Why must it be a Nisca? Newer Fargos do 600dpi also and easier to source, especially the material and parts.
21done.ph - nCA - Accepting preorders now! —
lol only you would do some crazy shit like that. Actually got the fiber lasers eh good stuff..excited to see em
Do I have to buy a separate printer for uv inks —
yes need separate printer. cant keep switching inks back and forth lol
The lens usually come preinstalled on the polycarbonate card stock straight from the manufacturer (with all/most other security features already applied).
The info and photos are later laser engraved on after during individual license issuance.

Such an ID would probably price out half the customer base that would just want it for booze and bars lol. With all the extra work and features, I doubt these would come cheap and affordable for the kids that just want get drunk.

The (right) laser will do proper raised text like that. Not sure if the MOPA can do lenticulars but there are ID card laser printers that can. Expensive af but possible. Fargo HDP8500LE for example.
Too lazy to search, will just ask again. Polycarb and how to make the new ones —
Apparently you cant just use any regular laser engraver, has to be specific wavelength fibre laser machine or something. Even then it takes a lot of tweaking so it doesnt burn the card. Someone correct me if im wrong though.
Unless you skip the bs and j
Do you recommend one or the other from personal experience? I hear good things about Nisca but haven't heard or seen much about Evolis products around here
from what I understand the 5600 is pretty crappy. I hear of some vendors using UV flatbeds to do the inverted window states..would that apply?
Can OVI be added to plastic card? —
trying to put in context where you would print the cards physically with a Fargo for example...I assume you wouldn't require lamination anymore since you printed direct to card. How would OVI be added in that situation is what I was trying to get at since
Difference between laminators —
The popular and beloved TLC 7000 only has 4 rollers but there are machines out there 6-10+ rollers deep...why are they not used or mentioned more often?
