I use my New Mexico FYD ID at a number of Colorado dispensaries. I can't say for sure if it will be any different in IL since they just legalized it but I say give it some time for some newer, smaller dispensaries to open

If my fake said that my ID was issued January 6, 2019 and all IDs produced after 2016 should have the star, bartenders could figure out its fake.
