Hey everyone, I’ve been stressing a bit about my MBA application lately and wanted to see if anyone had some advice. I feel like I’ve done all the research, but there’s always something I might be missing. Last year, I applied to a program and didn’t get in, and I’m trying to figure out how to avoid that this time. One thing I didn’t focus on much was my personal essay, which I think hurt my chances. How important is that essay, really? Does it make that much of a difference in the admissions decision?

I’m just browsing through different threads, but I thought I’d chime in real quick. One thing that I’ve learned from my own application journey is that balance is key. It’s easy to get overwhelmed by one part of the process, but remember, the whole package matters—your recommendations, resume, and even your interview prep. Just keep at it, and things will fall into place eventually!
