Getting an instate id, should i put real address on it? ( self )

Thats fully up to you. When I first got mine I put a different address on it but in my city, honestly just just go on a random address generator for your state and city and pick one.

I'd put your actual address. Why not? Had a door guy ask me what the closest intersection to my house was once (yeah - he looked at the address in maps). No way you'd know that unless you lived there - and no way you wouldn't know it if you did!
